Francis Bacon: Painter of the Invisible Details
Controversially this book claims that a 'spiritual dimension' is absolutely essential for any meaningful critique and understanding of Francis Bacon's oeuvre. Furthermore it is argued that this 'spiritual dimension' rests upon a mathematical foundation. There are no formulae or equations in this text for the concern is with Qualities not quantity. The radical nature of my thesis is underlined by referring to Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925) as the primary source for facts concerning the invisible realms of a 'spiritual dimension'. It is my belief that it is high time that artistic creativity (Qualities) resumes an equal status with scientific enquiry (quantity) for the determination of knowledge and truth.
