Reviews
This collection includes over 200 songs from the sixties and seventies. At that time, the ukulele's popularity had faded outside of a handful of novelty tunes. I was hoping for more songs from the twenties and thirties when the ukulele took the mainland by storm. That said, putting together not one, but two collections, each with over 350 songs, is an accomplishment. The arrangements are accessible and every once in a while they throw in some interesting chords. As other reviews have mentioned, I tinker with the chords when they don't quite fit. Most of the arrangements are too high for my voice range so I end up transposing. For me this book is a jumping off point for the handful of songs I'm interested in playing. You can find a complete song list on The Daily Ukulele website.
